Goal: read all 7 Harry Potter books and Vampire Knight Memories Volume 1 by Matsuri Hino

Total Books Read: 5

Total Books DNFed: 0

Total Pages Read: 1,498

So I didn’t meet the goal. But that’s fine because I am really happy with all the books I’ve read. I did make it through about half of the Harry Potter series and because of that I can’t say what the books are about and I think most know what the series is about. Therefore I’m just going to give you my rating and some of what I liked.

Complicated Us by Ashlyn, Raju Jana, and Khushboo Rani Mahato

This is the lowest rated book for this month at four stars. This book does have grammatical errors fair warning. We follow Khushi and Ashwin and how their relationship develops and grows.  This is a kind of slice of life romance. We get to see both the high points and the low points. I was pretty emotional while reading this.

Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone by JK Rowling

This was a five star read for me. I really enjoy the magic system and love how random it is.

Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets by JK Rowling

Another five stars. I really like that Rowling didn’t just write characters that we are ment to like. I love Dobby and was so excited that we meet him in this book.

Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban by JK Rowling

Can you guess how many stars this got? That’s right! Five! Just like the other two books this was heartwarming. But this is the book where the series got significantly better.

Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire by JK Rowling

Yet again another five stars. I don’t know what it was about this book but it made me feel really anxious and I really wanted to cry at one part. I know this is a sort of set up book for the rest of the series but it wasn’t the usual set up book where its not that interesting.

There you have it! So I’m almost half way through Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix but I’m just going to count it in my December wrap up. I want to keep my monthly wrap ups just about the books that I’ve completely finished and the total number of pages of the books that I’ve completely finished.

Any who! I hope that you are all having an amazing day.

  1. That’s a successful month 🙂 Especially with all those 5-star Potters!

I started re-reading the whole series this year and still enjoy it! Am up to the 6th volume now, but it will have to wait until next year.

    Happy reading in December 🙂
